Privacy policy
This policy explains how Grox Co. ("we") handles personal information you share through groxco.com. We're a small business based in Ottawa, Ontario, and we follow Canada's private-sector privacy law.
What we collect
When you use our contact form, we collect what you enter: your name, business name, email address, phone number if you give it, and your message. The form also records which page you sent it from and, if you arrived through a link in one of our social posts, which post. Our website host may also keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and browser type, for security.
How we use it
- To reply to your message and arrange a call.
- To prepare and deliver work you ask us to do.
- To keep basic business records, such as invoices.
We don't sell your information, and we don't add you to a mailing list without your permission.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run the business, such as our website host, form handling and email. They only process information on our behalf. Some of these providers may store data outside Canada.
Client data during projects
If we work with you, we only ask for the access we need, keep it secure, and remove our access when the project ends unless we agree otherwise in writing.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and business records for as long as the law requires.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@groxco.com. If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, contact us first and we'll do our best to fix it.
